Ongoing Training Programs

Technology is transforming the way that buildings and infrastructure are designed, constructed, and operated. And it’s helping to improve decision making and performance across the building and infrastructure lifecycle. BIM (Building Information Modeling) is an intelligent 3D model-based process that gives architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) professionals the insight and tools to more efficiently plan, design, construct, and manage buildings and infrastructure.
DESIGNMEN while continuing its legacy to promote the culture of innovation and agility, designed a six months training program for its staff on Building Information Modeling.

A geographic information system (GIS) is a framework for gathering, managing, and analyzing data. Rooted in the science of geography, GIS integrates many types of data. It analyzes spatial location and organizes layers of information into visualizations using maps and 3D scenes. GIS data helps us understand and meet global challenges.
As GIS technology rapidly advances, there are various innovative applications in the planning sector. GIS tools can be used to integrate geographic intelligence into planning processes, and have the potential to change how we think and behave.
Again focusing on the core values of innovation, agility and quality, DESIGNMEN has initiated a training program on GIS for its employees to get better equipped with the latest tools and technologies.

We know that the disparity between genders in the workforce has been detrimental, but research shows that increasing diversity is not only good for the company but the economy as a whole. Companies and individuals can take actions that set women up to succeed in any work environment.
DESIGNMEN women’s network is promoting the future where gender equality is no more a topic of debate. DESIGNMEN provides its female employees with equal opportunities to participate, grow professionally and play their roles in a leadership position. DESIGNMEN also provides a suitable and productive working environment for working mothers and individuals. DCE women’s network enhances the mutual cooperation and support among its female employees and elevate female role models in business at every level.

Water resource management is a very important issue from several angles such as development of water bodies for future, protection of available water bodies from pollution and over exploitation and to prevent disputes. A paramount issue is water-its availability, quality and management. Extensive hydrological information is necessary to develop water resources and protect them.

Designmen Consulting Engineers Islamabad conducted the training of Water Resources Management (WRM) for the students of Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST). The training was conducted at Chatta Bridge (Gulpur HPP) Kotli at Poonch River. A team of highly qualified professionals from DCE gave field training to students on hydrological measurements and sedimentation study. The trainers include Dr. Amir Haider Malik, Mr. Aqil Khan (Senior Field Hydrographer – Retired from WAPDA) and Mr. Zubair Hafeez. Training for hydrological instrument on Salgran Bridge was also conducted.
